Addiction Recovery Support Services in Oklahoma City

Comprehensive Support. Real Community. A Path That Doesn't End at Discharge.

Getting through detox takes courage. What comes next takes support — the right kind, built around your life and your needs.

Renewal Springs provides a full range of recovery support services in Oklahoma City and connects every client to the ongoing care, community, and resources that make lasting recovery possible. Because detox is just the beginning of real, sustained recovery.

Recovery Doesn't End When You Leave Our Doors

The research on addiction recovery is consistent on one point: the more support a person engages with after detox, the stronger their long-term outcomes.

Detox stabilizes the body. It does not resolve the underlying patterns, trauma, mental health conditions, or life circumstances that made substance use feel necessary. That work — the real work — happens in what comes after.

At Renewal Springs, we take that seriously. From the moment you arrive, your clinical team is building not just a detox plan but a path forward — one that accounts for who you are, what you’re returning to, and what you’ll need to sustain what you’ve started.

That means connecting you with step-down treatment, community resources, family support, and — where applicable — specialized services for veterans, first responders, and others with unique needs.

You will not leave Renewal Springs with a handshake and a pamphlet. You’ll leave with a plan, a network, and a team that remains invested in what happens to you.

What Comes After Detox — Your Continuum of Care

Detox is the first rung. The rungs that follow are what determine how sustainable your recovery becomes. Renewal Springs helps every client identify and access the appropriate next level of care before discharge.

Residential / Inpatient Treatment

For clients who need continued structure and immersive support after detox, residential treatment is often the recommended next step. Renewal Springs works directly with our network of sister facilities — and other trusted providers — to facilitate seamless transitions into residential programming when indicated.

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Continuation

For clients who began MAT during detox — particularly those recovering from opioid use disorder — ongoing MAT is a critical component of the continuing care plan. We help clients identify MAT-capable providers in their area and coordinate warm handoffs to ensure continuity of their medication protocol after discharge.

Our Sister Facilities — Trusted Care Across the Region

Renewal Springs is part of the Pathways Recovery Centers network — a family of treatment facilities spanning Oklahoma, Kansas, and Arkansas.

When a Renewal Springs client needs a higher level of care or longer-term residential treatment, we facilitate direct, seamless transitions within our own network.

You stay known. You stay supported. Your clinical history travels with you.

Smarter Detox Through Technology — Our Huml Health Partnership

Renewal Springs has partnered with Huml Health to integrate cutting-edge wearable biosensor technology into our detox and recovery support program. These discreet devices continuously track vital signs, sleep quality, and physiological stress indicators in real time — giving our medical team immediate, objective data about how your body is responding throughout detox.

What this means for you:

This is not a standard offering at most detox facilities. It’s part of our commitment to using every available tool to make your experience safer, more comfortable, and more clinically effective.

Support for Families — Because Recovery Happens in a Household

Addiction doesn’t affect just one person. It moves through a household, reshaping relationships, communication patterns, and trust. For recovery to hold, the environment a person returns to needs to be part of the healing too — not just a waiting room.

Guidance Through the Admissions Process

Many families reach out before the person seeking treatment does. Our admissions team fields family calls regularly and can walk you through options, insurance, and how to have an effective conversation with your loved one, at whatever stage you’re at.

Community Resources for Families

Recovery support for families doesn’t end when a client discharges. Al-Anon, Nar-Anon, and other community-based support resources exist specifically for people navigating a loved one’s recovery.

Our team connects families with what’s available locally in Oklahoma City.

  • Al-Anon: al-anon.org — support for families of those with alcohol use disorder
  • Nar-Anon: nar-anon.org — support for families of those with drug use disorder
  • SAMHSA National Helpline: 1-800-662-4357 — free, confidential, 24/7

Specialized Support for Veterans and First Responders

Renewal Springs was built for veterans, by veterans, with veterans on our clinical and support staff every day.

We understand that recovery for veterans and first responders comes with specific context: service-related trauma, PTSD, the unique culture of military and emergency service, and insurance systems that work differently than standard commercial plans.

Veterans Detox Program

Our Veterans Detox Program provides 24/7 medically supervised detox in an environment built around dignity, confidentiality, and genuine understanding of the military experience.

Trauma-informed care, dual diagnosis treatment for co-occurring PTSD and mental health conditions, and a team that includes fellow veterans — all part of the standard program, not an add-on.

Tricare & VA Benefits

We accept Tricare East coverage administered through Humana. Our admissions team also helps veterans explore VA benefit options and coordinate with the VA where applicable. If you’re a veteran with questions about coverage, call us — we’ll work through it with you.

First Responders

Firefighters, law enforcement, paramedics, and EMTs carry the same accumulation of stress, exposure to trauma, and cultural reluctance around help-seeking that veterans do.

Renewal Springs welcomes first responders and provides the same trauma-informed, non-judgmental care that defines our veterans program.

Recovery Is Stronger in Community — We Help You Find Yours

Clinical treatment is essential. But the peer support, accountability, and belonging that come from community are what sustain recovery long after a clinical program ends.

Renewal Springs actively connects clients with the community resources — formal and informal — that strengthen what they’ve built in treatment.

12-Step and Peer Support Groups

Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and related peer support programs offer something formal treatment cannot fully replicate: lifelong accountability and a community of people who understand.

We help clients connect with local meetings and, for those who benefit, build a working relationship with the 12-step framework as part of their discharge plan.

Alumni Networks Through Sister Facilities

Renewal Springs clients who continue care at our sister facilities — particularly Country Road Recovery — have access to active alumni communities with regular events, peer connection, and long-term support.

The brand brief notes that this is where many of our discharges go. That transition is coordinated and warm.

Faith-Based and Civic Community Resources

For clients whose recovery is strengthened by faith community, civic involvement, or other community anchors, our discharge team identifies and connects those threads before you leave. Recovery rooted in community is more resilient than recovery in isolation.

Oklahoma City Recovery Resources

Renewal Springs maintains awareness of local recovery resources — sober living options, peer support programs, community organizations, and outpatient providers — across the OKC metro. Our clinical team draws on this network when building discharge plans.

Your Discharge Plan — Built From Day One

Discharge planning at Renewal Springs begins at intake — not on your last day. From the moment we understand your clinical picture, your social situation, and your goals, your treatment team is building the path you’ll walk when you leave.

Every Renewal Springs discharge plan includes:

You will not leave uncertain about what comes next. That’s not acceptable to us.

Insurance Covers More Than Detox — Verify What's Available to You

Most private insurance plans cover not just detox but the step-down care, outpatient programming, and ongoing treatment that follow it.

Our admissions team verifies your benefits comprehensively — including what’s available at our sister facilities — so you have a complete picture before you make any decisions.

Support Services — Frequently Asked Questions

What happens to me after I finish detox at Renewal Springs?

Before you leave, your clinical team builds a full discharge plan with you — including a direct referral to the appropriate next level of care.

For most clients, that means transitioning to our sister facility, Country Road Recovery, for continued residential or outpatient treatment. We coordinate the handoff directly. You don’t start over with a new intake team from scratch.

You are not required to use a Pathways sister facility. Our priority is that you have appropriate ongoing care — wherever that is. If another program is a better fit for your situation, your clinical team will support that transition and help facilitate it. What matters is that you have a real next step, not where that step is.

Many clients return home to other parts of Oklahoma or other states after treatment. Our discharge team works to identify appropriate outpatient providers, MAT-capable practices, and community recovery resources in your home area before you leave. Distance is not a reason to leave without a plan.

Yes. Veterans stepping down from Renewal Springs detox receive discharge planning that specifically accounts for VA benefit access, Tricare coverage for continued care, veteran-focused community resources, and — where applicable — VA-connected treatment options.

Our admissions team has experience navigating VA systems and will walk you through what’s available.

Huml Health wearable biosensors are discreet devices that track vital signs, sleep, and stress indicators in real time during detox. This data helps our clinical team make more precise, personalized adjustments to your care plan throughout the detox process.

Participation and informed consent are discussed during your intake. The technology is a clinical tool — your care team will explain exactly how it works and what the data is used for.

Reach out to us. Relapse is part of many people’s recovery journeys, and it does not close the door. Our admissions team can reassess your situation, determine the appropriate level of care, and help you re-enter treatment. Your history with Renewal Springs is an asset, not a liability — we already know you.
